This year, Network Silicon Valley will include opportunities for students and alumni to participate in a variety of career-focused initiatives. These programs include the following:

  • Bay Area Career Fair and Reception
    Heinz Career Services, the Tepper School Career Opportunities Center, and the Career and Professional Development Center will offer an exclusive Carnegie Mellon University career fair for students and alumni from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at:

    This career fair will feature San Francisco and Silicon Valley employers from a range of industries. A networking reception for students, alumni, and employers will be offered from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. following the career fair.   • Career Advising for Alumni
    Representatives from the Career and Professional Development Center will be available to provide one-on-one, twenty-minute career advising sessions for alumni prior to the networking reception on Wednesday, January 9th. If you’d like to participate, please visit the registration page for more information and registration.

  • Alumni Career Mentoring
    Alumni are encouraged to serve as volunteer career mentors through the Career and Professional Development Center’s Take a Tartan to Work program during the week of January 7-11, 2013.
