Carnegie Mellon Highland Ambassadors

The Carnegie Mellon Highland Ambassadors provide opportunities for an exclusive group of students selected for their enthusiasm and school spirit to interact with alumni. They host important university guests and participate in a wide array of university and alumni events that showcase the best Carnegie Mellon has to offer.

Ambassadors interact one-on-one and in small groups with high profile alumni and top university volunteers such as the Board of Trustees, the Alumni Association Board, and VIP visitors to campus, as well as the overall alumni population.

A sampling of events where Ambassadors are involved include:

  • Legacy Family & VIP Visits
  • President's Weekend
  • Fundraising Events
  • Cèilidh Weekend
  • Carnival & Reunion Weekend
  • Board of Trustee Weekends
  • Alumni Board Weekends
  • Loyal Scot Student Committee

To be selected as a Highland Ambassador is a great honor that recognizes students' outstanding personal and leadership skills and provides them with extraordinary networking and social opportunities. Apply today by completing the Highland Ambassador application! Deadline: March 8, 2013

To request a Highland Ambassador for your event, please submit a Highland Ambassador Request Form or contact Niccole Atwell in the Office of Alumni Relations 412-268-7190.
