Alumni Association

Carnegie Mellon Highland Ambassadors

The Highland Ambassadors are an exclusive group of pre-screened, knowledgeable, and dependable student volunteers who help promote alumni and student engagement in both involvement and giving. Through an application and interview process, each Ambassador is chosen for their enthusiasm and school spirit. In short, they are the most loyal of Loyal Scots within the student population.

Highland Ambassadors serve as hosts to important university guests and participate in a wide array of university and annual events and special projects for the Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, including:

  • Legacy Family & VIP Visits
  • Andrew Carnegie's Birthday
  • Fundraising Events
  • Cèilidh Weekend
  • Carnival & Reunion Weekend
  • Board of Trustee Weekends
  • Volunteer Forum
  • Love a Donor Week
