Network Nights
Networking: The exchange of information or services among individuals, groups, or institutions; specifically: the cultivation of productive relationships for employment or business.
Network Nights are a long-standing tradition at Carnegie Mellon University. For more than 20 years, these regional networking receptions have brought students, parents and alumni together with potential employers in an informal after-work reception.
Network Nights are held during fall, winter and spring breaks so that students may participate. They provide an opportunity for students, parents, alumni and employers to meet and discuss opportunities, insights and experiences.

The receptions offer an opportunity for employers to meet prospective employees and interns in a setting that is less formal than a job fair.
Electronic student resume books are made available to participants, and employers are encouraged to bring business cards and literature regarding their organization.
Representatives from the local Carnegie Mellon Alumni Chapter are also on hand to answer questions about life in the region as well as chapter activities.
