Carnegie Mellon’s annual Network New York brings alumni and students together with employers during an after-work reception. It is an opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with old friends and to share Carnegie Mellon and post graduation experiences with students.

The reception attracts students and alumni of Carnegie Mellon’s seven colleges and interdisciplinary program as well as employers with internship and full time positions.

In preparation for the reception, students, alumni and employers may connect with each other via LinkedIn. Alumni and students may use the Carnegie Mellon Alumni LinkedIn Group. Non-alumni may also connect with students and alumni through LinkedIn. Look for those willing to be contacted via LinkedIn on the Attending Organizations page.

The $15 on-line registration cost includes appetizers and refreshments. On-site registration is $20. Non-profit and government employers attend without charge.

Alumni and employers are asked to RSVP by Monday, October 15.
Student registration closes on Wednesday, October 10.

Registration opens for Network New York
Representatives from graduate and undergraduate career offices as well as the Carnegie Mellon Alumni Office will be on-hand to answer questions regarding degree programs and to connect employers with job seekers. Representatives from the New York Alumni Chapter will provide information about life in New York and upcoming events.

Guests may move between the following three focus areas:

  • Business and Technology – Grand Ballroom (2nd Floor)
  • Government, Non-Profit, Healthcare – Grand Salon (3rd Floor)
  • Arts and Entertainment – Lounge (4th Floor)
