Network Nights 2007-08

About Network Nights:
Network Nights are a long-standing tradition at Carnegie Mellon University. For more than 20 years, these regional receptions have brought those seeking employment together with alumni and employers in an after-work reception. Network Nights are a series of annual events, held during Carnegie Mellon Fall, Winter and Spring Break. They are an opportunity for students, alumni and employers to meet and discuss opportunities, insights and experiences.

Network Nights attract undergraduates,
current master’s students, and alumni of the seven colleges and interdisciplinary programs within Carnegie Mellon. The receptions represent an efficient and cost-effective opportunity for employers to meet prospective full-time employees and interns. Electronic resume books are made available to participants, and employers are encouraged to bring business cards and literature regarding their organization.

In addition to exploring job opportunities, alumni share post-Carnegie Mellon experiences with each other and with students. Representatives from the local Carnegie Mellon Alumni Chapter will be on hand to answer questions about life in the region as well as upcoming chapter activities.

nformation regarding each Network Night can be accessed through the navigation bar. In 2007/2008, Carnegie Mellon’s Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to welcome Hulu.com and eScription as well as welcome back Google and Microsoft Research as Network Night sponsors.
