Carnegie Mellon alumni can order transcripts from the HUB. Alumni must submit a signed request form in order to release their transcript. The transcript request form can be submitted by mail or fax; phone or e-mail requests cannot be accepted due to a federal law that requires the university to obtain your signature. Transcripts cannot be faxed under any circumstances. Official transcripts include both undergraduate and graduate programs.

On the request, we need the following information:
- Your name (include maiden name if applicable)
- Student identification number (if applicable)
- Did you attend prior to 1990?
- Phone number or e-mail address
- The number of transcripts you need
- The address the transcript(s) should be sent
- Service requested
- Signature
All transcripts come in individually sealed envelopes, unless otherwise specified.
Explanation of Services
Walk-In Service - $5.00 per copy
- No forms or attachments to be completed.
- Maximum of 3 copies.
- You must present photo ID when picking up transcripts.
Third Business Day Mailing - $5.00 per copy
- Allow 3-4 business days for processing. On fourth business day, transcript will be sent via U.S. mail.
- Mailing time may vary depending on the location.
Overnight UPS
- $20.00 for first three official copies to each U.S. address. Additional copies to same address are $5 each.
- International addresses $40 for first 3 copies and $5 per each additional copy to same address.
- Must be received by 3:00 p.m. eastern time.
- May be delayed if P.O. Box provided.
