What We Can Do For You
If you are interested in helping Carnegie Mellon recruit future students, consider volunteering with the Carnegie Mellon Admissions Council.

About CMAC

CMAC is an organization of nearly 1,000 Carnegie Mellon alumni, who volunteer with the Office of Admissions to help attract and enroll prospective students. CMAC's membership includes alumni from the United States, its territories and several foreign countries.

The CMAC Mission

  • To work within the scope of the mission of the Office of Admissions and the university
  • To participate in and coordinate activities for prospective students who are interested in Carnegie Mellon
  • To act as a liaison between prospective students and the university
  • To help prospective students understand the nature of Carnegie Mellon and whether or not the university is a good match for their interests and academic level
