Alumni volunteers are essential to the overall success of Alumni Relations at Carnegie Mellon and the Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association. Volunteering also is a great way to continue your involvement with the university today. We want to serve the needs of alumni, and put alumni talent to work for Carnegie Mellon—to serve current students, attract the best new students and maintain our relationship with fellow alumni. The ways you can help your university are almost unlimited. Several opportunities are listed below.
- Become a member of the Alumni Association Board
- Meet with students on campus to discuss your career.
- Help students and alumni with career workshops and panels. For more information, contact the Career Center at 412-268-2064.
- Help Carnegie Mellon recruit the right students: volunteer with CMAC, the Carnegie Mellon Admission Council. For more information, contact Courtney Mongell or Shannon Dempster at 412-268-2082.
- Become involved with your local Alumni Chapter. If there is not a chapter in your area and you are interested in starting a chapter, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 1-800-226-8258.
